Leave it to the dudes from the state that introduced the concept of Endless Summer to come up with this gem! As you know we introduced the Non California part of the world to Wet Hop / Fresh Harvest Ales EIGHT years ago and have been shouting from that mountain top ever since. Well, the folks at Sierra Nevada - who brewed the first Wet Hop ale available commercially - have done it again! On May 15th also at the Brickskeller we proudly welcome our buddy Steve Grossman and the beers of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company Join us welcoming Steve back to the Brick! (there are rumors his brother Ken, founder of the brewery will also be in the house!) Steve will be presenting a lineup of their great beers most probably including Pale Ale, Summerfest, Porter, Schwarz Beer, Bigfoot, Stout, Wheat and a couple we haven't presented before, Torpedo and. ..are you sitting down? Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale. Yep. It's true. These cool dudes have just brewed a Fresh Harvest Ale with hops grown in the southern hemisphere!
